Scottsdale the Beautiful.

Scottsdale has only two seasons – “stunning” and “hot”! During prime season, life in Scottsdale easily revolves outdoors – from spring training, to golf, hiking, biking, jeep tours, touring botanical gardens, horseback riding, along with a endless supply of outdoor dining options. You can drive the Apache Trail or take part in annual events like the Waste Management Open, the Scottsdale Arabian Horse Show and the Barrett-Jackson collector car auction. These events draw people from around the world.

If you’re coming during the “hot” time of the year – and yes, it really is “that hot” - you’ll still find plenty of things to see and do, but with fewer crowds. Many outdoor activities either revolve around the pool or take place during the evenings.

Or both, with events like swim up movie time. During the summer, many spas and wellness resorts have incredible specials on their services. Resorts have day passes for their pools. A short drive can take you to other places like Sedona or Flagstaff, where temperatures can be 15-20 degrees cooler.
